speech marks Providing an opportunity to share thoughts, feelings or difficulties confidentially and make positive change. speech marks

Many people experience difficulties or problems at some time during their lives and feel that they are going through a rough patch. Talking through your problems and worries with someone is important and can help significantly; but it's often hard to speak with family and friends and there is a need at these times to speak with someone who will listen, understand and accept us as we are. That's where counsellors can help.

People seek counselling to discuss a wide range of issues such as bereavement, stress, depression, alcohol or substance misuse, anxiety, abuse, work or relationship problems; but in reality the list is endless. Counselling helps people to find solutions to their difficulties and move forward in their lives.

Highland Counselling, run by qualified counsellor, Cerian Baldwin, offers counselling in Inverness, capital of the Highlands of Scotland, but covers a much wider area: including counselling in Dingwall, the Black Isle, Beauly, Muir of Ord Tain, Ullapool and many other parts of Ross-shire. In addition, I offer outdoor counselling as an alternative to more traditional approaches, and, through the use of Skype and telephone counselling, clients can also access counselling in even the most remote of areas.

Please take a little time to look around this website. You'll find information on how counselling works and how it can help, plus a variety of links to counselling-related resources.

If you have any questions or would like to chat about how counselling could help you, please feel free to get in touch.
